friday walkabout

in the last 48 hours several people oooohed and ahhhed about noe valley. seemed like the spirits were tempting us with visions of grandeur, so i embarked on a trek to see it for myself.

the jury is still out for me and this 'hood. seemed too scrubbed clean for my tastes, but i'm planning return visits before i formulate my firm opinion. the walk, on the other hand, was a delight. my buddy jay talks about hills keeping one from travelling to certain areas of sf, and frankly, i never really believed that a silly hill would stop me. i still don't, but he was right about the hill separating us and noe valley--it's a doozy!
