don't get me wrong: not all spam is smarter. but consider for a moment the emails inter-newbies and relatives send that clogs up servers and makes you wince each time you spy "FW:" in the subject line.
remember when you used to get the video of the sleeping kitty falling off the tv, or the animated gif of santa's elf with your uncle's head on it? i haven't received one of those in quite a spell, but i HAVE received many emails with this:
alas, the list of those to thank for sending this is too lengthy. love it.
