zazie, before moving

here we are, the eve of our last night on steiner, looking forward to our first day with a numbered address.

today we cleaned our new place from head to toe, reveling in its charm. once finished, we felt it was truly ours. funny how spaces transform after emptied of a stranger's possessions. some rooms felt large, others felt small, but all felt just right together. the office, or the second bedroom, has two massive closets that could easily pass for another room. the tiny kitchen didn't seem so bad once the cluttered counters vanished. and the sun. oh glorious sun. amazing how a couple miles south and to the east can brighten up a neighborhood.
