my buddy lee graced us with his presence last night, in town from seattle for a conference. it sure is great living in a city with so much activity and with so much draw--many friends have visited us in the short time we've lived here.
we haven't seen lee and his wife sachi for a long time, as they were on an astounding trip 'round the world starting in winter of '05. as i anticipated, it was much fun hearing firsthand accounts of their trip and also brainstorming fresh ideas and future projects. (we miss having lee nearby!)
over the course of the night, good food, drink, and explosive laughter was shared... i had to take a nap today to make up for the lost sleep!

it sounds like a great evening. getting to hear some of the untold stories of the big trip perhaps. i certainly enjoyed being a lurker on his and sachi's adventure.
