how can sriracha sauce, a spicy and delicious condiment made in the u.s.a., have a label in 3 languages (vietnamese, chinese, and english), while our country's leaders are declaring the ultimate demise of our freedoms over the national anthem, ballots, and who knows what else being in additional languages?
it just isn't a big deal for those nice canadians to duplicate everything in french and english. i'm sure they haven't experienced a fractured sense of patriotism, and french-canadians sure aren't any less canadian because they speak a language other than english. neither are the canadians who speak inuktitut.
yesterday i heard that king county is looking for chinese translators to expand the county ballots and voter information pamphlets. rock on, seattle!
